Ok, so I have been here in Australia for over 1 month. I just recently flew from Sydney to Perth for a promo and then on to Darwin for a little relaxation. When I landed in Darwin and walked off the plane the heat and humidity hit me immediately just like back home in Miami. After checking into the hotel I took a walk and immediately decided I did not want to leave on Wednesday, but extend my trip here and take some time off for myself in this very unique city in the Northern Territory of Australia.

Australia is an amazing, but a bit more expensive than I thought it would be. They seem to have not been hit by the “world wide” economic crisis which put their economy in hyper mode and shooting their dollar up sharply to other currencies (bad for Qantas’ decision to make the full upper deck of the A380 business class).

In the mean time, here is howta speek Australian:

Maccas = McDonalds (and Australians love their Maccas!)

Hungry Jacks = Burger King

Breakkaas = Breakfast, have your Breakkas at Maccas!

Mate = Friend
