10 Days in Melbourne so far!

So I have been in Melbourne now for 12 days and I kinda feel like I’m at home here now. At first my time was spent catching up with my cousin and then New Years Eve. After that, I had to deal with a bunch of business back in America, so it was kind of hard to get my real work done here. In the end though it all started to come together.
The day before I shot my first scene I decided to take a walk since my friend Tye, who I am staying with, basically pushed me out because he really needed to rest. Since the sun does not go down until about 8pm, I took a walk along the beach starting in Elwood and made it half way up to St. Kilda. The beach here is not as nice as Miami Beach, but hey, what can you expect, I’m not in Gold Coast, yet!
I walk every day to the station I call Elster-something to pop up to Windsor station to go to the gym on Church street and then try my best to find food. Yes, Outback Steakhouse is a horrible exported lie from Australia! There ain’t no shrimp on the barbie or some back rack of ribs like the Flintstones eat. You are lucky, when ordering a chicken sandwich, to get piddles of chicken dry on bread. I would usually never admit this, but I am going to McDonald’s more often than I like because they just don’t skimp on the beef or chicken portions. My friend Tye says Australians are so fit, you know, the hot blond ones with no body fat running up and down the beach, because all Australians eat is coffee! I am beginning to believe him! Ans if you do want a meal, well, that is going to cost you! I really can’t believe how expensive Australia is!
Anyway, I will be giving you exclusive sneak peaks soon of my filming here, but in the mean time I am trying to stay cool in this 110 degree weather! UGH!

Sounds like you missed out on Melbourne’s great eat streets and restaurants.
